GDMA will be offering a worldwide vector-based navigable map database. The maps of the GDMA partners will be stored consistently throughout the database, enabling a uniform & seamless map database. The maps will be available on different levels.

• The Platinum Network is the richest road network available offering all available countries on street level.
• The Gold Network offers all interconnecting roads available plus the main cities, per country, on street level.
• The Silver Network offers all major and interconnecting roads.

Global coverage
Ultimately GDMA, as neutral map supplier, wants to offer the market a uniform global data base that enables the high performance of a wide scope of applications. Currently, GDMA will be offering map data of Western-Europe, Middle East, Northern-Africa and China.

After the successful completion of the feasibility study new companies will be invited to join GDMA to achieve global coverage.
